The Wilkesboro Police Officers will be assisting Wilkes Safe Kids at a Free Child Passenger Safety Car Seat Check on Saturday, December 19, 2009 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. This event will be hosted by Empire Chevrolet on US Hwy 421.  The checks will be conducted inside the dealership in the service bay area.  Child Passenger Safety Materials will be available for free and defective seats may be replaced at this event at no cost.
