Public Invited. 9am - 9pm. Admission is $5 adults & $2 Kids. Parking is $1 or $4 per car. Educational Native American pow wow cosponsored by the W. Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir. Lots of demonstrators showing how things were made and used long ago. Childrens activities each day. Make a rain stick or Gods Eye. Watch a dream catcher or medicine bag being made. Tee pee demonstration just yards away. Regular pow wow activities like dancing, drumming, singing, story telling, corn husk doll making, music, flute playing, flint knapping, etc. going on all day. 15 handmade craft vendors, food vendors, and demonstrators open all day. Brushy Mountain Apple Festival

is presented by the Brushy Mountain Ruritan Club, is one of the largest one-day arts and crafts festivals in the Southeast. Over 100 civic, church and other non-profit organizations participate in the festival. Over 160,000 people visit this festival during the day and it's FREE.
